Halloween and Horror Films

Good afternoon everyone,

Tonight is Halloween and as a fan of horror I want to write about some horror films of all times that I like and I reccommend to you.

1. Insidious Episode 2 (2013)

If you liked the first episode I really reccommend you to go to the cinema and enjoy this ghost film. It's the kind of film that makes you nervous and to twine into your seat. It mixes classical horror scenes with some humouristic ones. I really applause to the main male actor: Patrick Wilson.  http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0933940/

2. Secuestrados (2010)

A family that lives in a big manor at the outskirts of the city is attacked inside their own house. This Spanish film is great if you want to stay awake all the night. Warning: Don't stay alone at home after watching this film, please don't.

3. Hostel (2005)

There is one word that comes to my mind when speaking about this film: Disgusting. It's the only film that almost makes me throw up. If you enjoyed the Saw saga you will love it.

I could talk about many horror films, but I think that you can do a good horror marathon tonight with these three.

Now, here you have a great short film that is perfect for Halloween:

Sitges Film Festival 2013: Game of Thrones

These past two weeks The Sitges Film Festival has taken place. This has been my second time in the festival and, as I am an enthusiastic of horror and fantasy films, I really loved it.
My favourite experience this year has been the Sitges View: Game of Thrones

Last Sunday 13th October, all the fans of this HBO's series and George RR Martin books had the opportunity to see and listen to one of the best characters in Game of Thrones, Tywin Lannister who is masterly played by Charles Dancehttp://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001097/
Charles Dance was received like a Rock Star, as said by himself and showed a great sense of humour when answering the questions. It was great to see that Game of Thrones fans have good english skills as almost everybody laughed at his jokes without waiting to the interpreter. I want to remark the last statement made by Mr. Dance: "Tywin Lannister is not a bad as you think. He is worse!"

After the interview the episode 3x09 of the series was shown. This is the most powerful episode on the TV series until today and watching it in the big screen leaves anybody indifferent. The silent audience in the room at the end of the episode was incredible. This episode has been so succesful that even people have been recording theirselves when watching it: 3x09 game of thrones reaction

And you? What was your reaction to 3x09 episode?
