Tusk and Justin Long, the one always gets the rough end of the stick

Last October 11th I could attend the screening of the latest Film fFestival in Sitges Fantasy and Horror , the film Tusk directed by Kevin Smith  was chosen.
I have to report that the screening was a disasterAt 23: 00h o'clock people began to enter the room, the time the film was supposed to start. We had to wathc a short film, short just to speak since it was eternal, that was not a horror or fantasy short film so I guess there was some kind of favouritissm here and finally after fifteen minutes of film everything broke down and half an hour passed before we could resume the film.
I have to say I liked the film, in the sense that it is original and entertaining with a touch of humor and it is a  less gore version of The Human Centipede.  There are some unexpected performances such as grown up Haley Joel Osment, the child from The Sixth Sense, which has grown too wide, and a nearly unrecognizable Johnny Depp an specialist playing crazy roles. Michael Parks, which plays Justin Long's torturer,  spectacularly plays the fake harmless old man. When the action begins it reminds me of Bram Stoker's Dracula. A confident Justin Long's character arrives at a manor  dark and lost in the middle of nowhere  to interview Parks character who has lived many experiences a lot and tells amazing stories, but Long ignores he is a monster. Here is when Long's suffering begins. From the beginning when I see that Long is the star I know that the poor guy will have a hard timer. Long has starred dull and romantic comedies but  I haven't watched a single  horror film starred by him where he had a happy ending. The first time I saw Justin Long in a film was in Jeepers Creepers , who have wathced it will know that Long was chased by a beast that awoke every 28 years for just three days and killed everything put in front of him. I will not spoiler but ... poor Long. The second horror film, Drag me to hell, a very revealing title. I will only say that Long was the boyfriend of the heroine, and in horror films that is never a good signal.
If you are curious about how poor Justin suffers this time I suggest you go to watch it, especially if you did  bear  The human centipede as Tusks has got less guts and a better plot. I also recommend it  because of Haley Joel Osment reappearance.  I will like to know what you think. Thanks..
